repercussions of arrest (charges dropped) - Pls keep this apolitical!

OP: thanks for all the advice. Most likely, he will only ever work for left leaning orgs so probably won't be an issue. Trust fund kid so money isn't an issue. Still, parents are trying to have it expunged.

I learned just last week that one of my specialists was arrested while in med school and had her record expunged. I never would have known and this is a woman frequently googled because she is one of three specialists in this condition on the East Coast and only one of a dozen women in the whole of North America in the field.

If he's a trust fund baby he can always find volunteer work if the job world doesn't work out. not sure why they are concerned if there is this much money.
