I think she'll have no trouble getting elected to the council. She was the president who got McKnight to step down and hired Taylor, which are largely viewed as positive developments.

What “success,” praytell, has Laura Stewart had???

I admit I've only seen one board meeting online, but she didn't say more than five words in that meeting. And they weren't memorable ones.

There are a lot of people who are not in love with Taylor, so not sure why you're seeing his appointment as a victory:

I never said that the people who disapprove of him was the majority. But there's a significant portion who are not impressed and I'm seeing that number grow as more parents complain about the Boundary and Program studies.

I’m surprised because shebis normally very rambling. She cannot effectively communicate her thoughts.

But with MCPS grade inflation that is actually a D!

People will remember the executive hires & packages, Biedelman and cronyinsm, the bowing to diversionary answers from staff instead of incisive question follow-up, the settlement payouts, the ongoing CIP disaster, the elimiation of the VA, the case they lost at the supreme court, the overall academic struggles & resistance to advanced curricula, the push for MC as a panacea and the like over the positives she brought.

That said, she'd fit right in on the council

Nope, lets talk about all the scandals she was involved in and how she failed to repair the schools, how she created terrible budget issues, how she shut down the MVA leaving the most vulnerable students without an education, the bus and other issues...

She's incompetent.
