has the curriculum for AAP 4th grade changed?

What is the point of the AAP program anymore? It's like you time the fastest runners, advance them to the finals, and then tell them to jog at warm‑up pace so the whole field stays together.

Already what happens to the top of Gen Ed kids who are probably interchangeable with one third to one half of the kids in aap

This is a really good question. State law mandates some sort of gifted education, so I imagine it's to check that box. Why they don't just follow Arlington's push in model that basically does nothing, plus advanced math, I don't know. Seems like what they want to do.
