NP. My hair hasn’t grown in that way since starting HRT, but the speed at which it grows is now ridiculous. Need to double down on trims.

I use Yuvafem, which is the vaginal insert. No side effects other than the intended use.

I used to use Vagifem and Yuvafem but there seemed to be sime residue that built up. I prefer the cream once i started that. I thought it would be runny but it isn't.

Has anyone felt more emotional in days following using the small amount of cream? I know this is not typical but just curious from anecdotal pov.

I actually just had a Dr's visit about this. The resident tried to say there were no systemic effects or something like that and the attending said that sometimes blood tests should very slightly elevated levels of estrogen.

Progesterone is oral, but my understanding is that they no longer give oral estrogen (I believe bc estrogen that passes through the liver increases clotting risk, but topical doesn’t).

My HRT is 3 parts: oral progesterone, topical estrogen gel, and vaginal estrogen cream.

But I’m glad it’s working for you, OP.

I was given oral estrogen as recently as a year ago. My new doc changed me to the patch at my request.

It still exists it’s just not prescribed as frequently

Same. On oral HRT for both estradiol and progesterone. Topical was not offered. I have no idea on difference on application. I use wild yam cream or a vulva balm for any dryness or chafing. Lube as needed.
