Call it a gift, stay under the annual, individual gift tax exclusion. Have your parent report the "gift" on their tax return. There's a spot for it.
Don't complicate it by calling it services--there are additional tax implications there for both you and your parents. They are thanking you for being helpful with a "gift." |
