In case anyone is interested. Personally I won’t vote for a pro Israel candidate again.

Thank you for this.

I will vote only candidates that are not supporting Israel.

I have a dream.

No more US financing of Zionist genocide

No more dual citizenships with Israel

No more tourists traveling to Israel.

No more flights from New York to Ben Gurion.

Zionists are completely isolated and left to fight among themselves as rats on a sinking ship.

Can you articulate what the real issue is? IME Those who present themselves as pro-Pali and anti-Zionist are using the issue to express their dissatisfaction with some other issue. There is a reason why you see so many African-Americans, SE Asians, and Hispanics at these demonstrations. They don't feel empowered to complain about what is really bothering them and are using this conflict which to many is so far away as a safe space to complain obliquely about something else. I have a dream that people will have the insight to articulate what is really bothering them and stop projecting. It's so MAGA.

Huh, not a word about white people at protests?

Believe me, they are the same.

Speaking of which, I was at the beach yesterday. There was a white lesbian woman with a black trans man. As they were leaving, I noticed the white woman was wearing a shirt that said, "Palestine". <Eye roll> Palestine and Palestinians have become a proxy for every far-left grievance. Worse yet, Trump is a complete disaster and we're on the verge of ecological collapse and all the far-left can do is obsess over a Jewish state. Then, you wonder why people think it's anti-semitic. (I'm Christian fwiw.) If any of you had a set, you'd be on the streets fighting against Trump and fighting for our environment. Instead, you're stuck over-identifying with a group of brown people half a world away in a conflict which really has little impact on most people in this country, which makes it safer for you all than fighting for our own country...

because you know white people bad, brown people good. /s

How is it that DEMOCRATS demanded that their Presidential candidates, Harris and Waltz, are RABID Zionists?

Counterpunch - Israeli Lobby is in cahoots with the military industrial complex.

Tl;dr: It's a very convenient vehicle to get money into the pockets of the Pro-Israel politicians and the MIC also gets to have their business with those forever wars in the middle east. Trillions of dollars worth of money for wars in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen etc were all pushed by Israel. See Netanyahu’s Clean Break policy and book on terrorism.

See, there must be some reason- other than disgusting slaughter of innocents with our tax dollars- that people are upset with Zionism. /s

So delusional.

Speak for yourself. You are the one lacking insight into your own behavior. I'm just communicating what I have observed over time. If you are uncomfortable with an honest observation, you're the one with the issue.

Huh? I’m white, married to a Jewish man

Thank you. I have nothing against the Jewish religion or Jewish people. But I have no desire to support Israel. They are not the same.

Got to love the Huh? response. That's not an effective comeback. It's nowhere near as disarming as you clearly think.

+1,000,000 — Israel is very wealthy thanks to our zillions of our tax dollars.

The entire apparatus of both parties, including the party bosses and political strategists run on AIPAC money.

Even the slightest opposition to AIPAC is successfully crushed.

Please see college protests of 2024 and the 2024 ousting of Congressman Jamal Bowman.

And Cory. I agree with all of that but I don’t think it hit people as clearly as it does now.

These ways of silencing people are not effective. Just because you can't tolerate a viewpoint outside your own doesn't make me boring. It makes you intolerant.

DP

Not all viewpoints deserve equal airtime. Some deserve none. For example, radical extremism. I don’t give a single F to hear what you have to say.

- Radical, extremist Zionists

- Radical, extremist Islamists

- Evangelicals and Born Again Christians

- Members of the political class who subjugate themselves to any of the first three groups

Those four birds of a feather can F right the F off the nearest bridge. No use for them, no time for them, no interest in pretending that their views matter.

How can we reduce AIPAC’s ownership of our politicians?

I'm so sick of extremists. The people obsessed with Gaza are just like MAGA.

Let's stop pretending this is about average people and their viewpoints. This is about monied interests in our politics and about corruption. That is what AIPAC is; legalized corruption on behalf of a foreign country.
