How could Ocean City have jumped the shark? It’s exactly the same as it’s always been except more expensive.
And all of Italy— from Fruli to Sicily— has “jumped the shark” And a couple of DCUM posters have declared nothing in Costa Rica is “authentic” anymore?! This thread has clearly jumped the shark! |
| OP is one of those people that ONLY goes to the tourist traps. Try exploring a little, OP. |
Not pp “Least authentic place in Latin America” Do you disagree with that statement? |
I have no idea what that statement even means but there are plenty of places in Latin America that have been transformed by tourism, especially in Mexico. |
UMC White families only? Tell that to the family of Malcolm-Jamal Warner. They were in Costa Rica when he had the drowing accident. |
I blame the Clooneys for that |
Yes! Came in here to say this too. My family has been going to Bethany since 1980. Stayed in the little Tower Shores area in north Bethany. No more. Toooooo crowded. Too many wealthy jerks in massive McMansion beach homes. Just too much everything. So sad to me, because I have so many fond memories of my now-deceased grandparents there, playing with cousins, etc.

I suppose you could make a list of what defines “Latin America”. Then decide which latin america country is last on the list of meeting that definition. Start with food. What defines Latin American food. What are 3 countries that least meet that definition? |
This cannot be true. I was there in ‘94 and it was a mob scene. |
