I lived in Geneva as a kid, and just went back to visit last month. Saw a bunch of old friends for literally the first time in 40 years. I think Geneva probably has 2-3 days worth of stuff to do. The old city is nice to walk around in, and there are some beautiful parks to see. You can also visit the UN, and some of the other international organizations, if that's of interest. I'd also definitely recommend going to to the Chateaux de Chillion near Montreux (you can probably do this by train fairly easily). It might also be fun to take a boat over to Evian. Not sure if its changed now, but back in the day there was a public fountain with Evian spring water just pouring out. People would come to fill up their bottles. Keep in mind that restaurants in Geneva (and Switzerland in general) can be very, very pricey. You should definitely visit. Its a great small city.
