I actually think philosophically Vance is worse only because in the grand scheme of things at least Trump is gross and horrible authentically where Vance is more of a fake. I at least respect that Trump is a true monster but is exactly himself v Vance who is constantly kissing ass and truly has the charisma of a rock.

If Europe despises Vance it means he is doing something right. We do not want become a sickly, socialist Euro-weenie nation.

Europe is organized at its core. What you call socialism is a social safety net that actually works (in *most* member states) and isn’t weighed down by fraud and abuse. People aren’t calling ambulances for splinters just because they can. They have actual requirements to fulfill, but most of all, people cannot disappear.

The U.S. otoh is chaotic. One state doesn’t know what the other one is doing. One county doesn’t cooperate with the next. Criminals run free and disappear. (This includes people illegally here.). The social net here is dismal, and ineffective, with no accountability, and just perpetuates the cycles of poverty. The whole country is disjointed, unorganized, because there doesn’t seem to be a will to do so.
