I have these as an alternative to my Jacks (which I still love):

| I have hurrache sandals that are probably 5 years old that have held up great. Not these, but similar: https://us.boden.com/products/multi-strap-pointed-sandals-tan?variant=46864291954940&tc_ch=ps&tc_ve=goog&tc_so=pmax&tc_me=cr&tc_ca=ss-drop-offer&tc_au=&tc_cr=na&tc_campid=US+-+Performance+Max+-+WW+-+FP+-+New&tc_adgroupid=&tc_kwid=&tc_matchid=&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20226773450&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkILEBhDeARIsAL--pjylCg0eIIVtS1pkQb4B70QCc6pz-OTyih1Hnk5HRiWTmRCHIYIEO_8aArM_EALw_wcB |

I have these and I know they’re basic or whatever but they are so comfortable and I find I wear them more because in casual situations where I’m not just wearing flip flops, I usually feel better with my toes more covered.

Yes. It would help to know OP and each posters age. A 30yo and 55yo have wildly different tastes in confy sandals. |
This is what I was going to recommend. I originally bought them so I had summery shoes on days I needed to look pulled together but didn’t have my nails done. But I find myself wearing them more often than that. I do think they look very bummy as they age but I just buy a new pair. Old one still works for very casual situations. |
You’re being a jerk. How about “The ones posted aren’t really my style, here are links to the ones I like….” |

I found these Chloe scalloped flat sandals in new condition on Poshmark years ago. They are my favorite with sundresses and very comfortable.

I bought these on a whim bc I needed to get over a certain amt to avoid shipping when getting new crocs for ds.
https://www.crocs.com/p/miami-two-strap-sandal/209795.html?cgid=women-footwear-sandals&cid=001 I bought them in an almond color but don’t see it anymore. I usually wear very expensive sandals but am shocked that these are adorable and really comfortable! |
I have a sandal very similiar to PP. mine are Steve Madden. I have them in both a neutral brown a don in black. |
| Some of the shoes recommended here are horrendous! If you want an ugly shoe, go with the Hermes one. |
| I love my Hermes Oasis. This one is not ugly but the Chypre is another story. |
|
These remind me of Jacks but look like they might be a bit more comfortable because of the slight wedge.

I think it's funny OP asked for preppy, dressy sandals and half of you are posting or recommending orthopedic shoes.
OP, just do the Hermes knockoffs by French sole. |
Congrats on posting the first actually cute/preppy pair of sandals on a thread asking for cute/preppy sandal recs. |
