How important to replace a C in math?

Eh, he has the ability. He just sort of decided he wanted to spend his time doing other stuff and not turning in assignments.


This kid will get destroyed in a college engineering program if he comes into it with that attitude, and having this attitude in high school is not a good sign.

Plenty of very smart kids who don’t want to do the work flunk out of engineering despite their high ability.

Is this AP Precalc? If so, you should know that the majority of that exam is comprised of Algebra II concepts. If your kid got a C in that, I'm sorry, but he isn't going to get an A in AP Calc BC.

If he is such a physics prodigy (ie, reading physics books in his spare time), he should be able to handle precalc.
