Scam phone calls and text messages are getting out of hand!

An insurance agent would call the home phone and leave a message. He thought it was a dealership he has business with. He finally found out he mistakenly had my number preprogramed in his phone and never changed it. This went on for a while until I answered the phone and told him he's calling the wrong number. He was so stupid he kept calling until he realized his phone had my number in his phone and not the correct number and never changed it.

Then some federal agent has a cell number like mine but off one digit. I get all his calls, messages, and texts. I just delete them. Then one day I answered the phone and said who's this and they said agent so and so and I told them you got the wrong number programed in your phone to change it. It took him a while because he kept calling me.

Some people are making legit calls conducting business they have a number off one digit programed in their phones.
