What level income and/ or net worth is not concealable?

People make assumptions that are often false. Some of the people I know who flaunt it the most actually have the least and the most down to earth and unassuming have the most. Insecurity can make people overextend.

Me too and they are in debt. Private schools, vacations, car loans, cleaning people, childcare, mortgage, etc. can eat into this very fast.

I think our neighbors would be surprised to know we have an $11 or $12 million net worth. Our house is worth a little over a million, nothing about our lifestyle speaks to this amount of assets. My husband retired only slightly early, at 58, and I'm still working full time.

Answer is any amount is concealable really.

It's none of their business.

We are the 1%. No one knows. Why should they?

This. We are wealthy and no one would know.
