11:07 - not Stoddert, this is in Arlington.
no score is supposedly kept so there's no rule about "lopsided scores" tho to the other team's credit they did let us to put 5/6 players on against their 4. sadly it didn't make much difference. |

Actually, my kid played in Arlington at that age, and unless the coach of the opposing team was a total prick, once the game got lopsided the losing team always got an extra player.

hmm... we played in Arl for 2 years U6 & U7 with more than a few games were lopsided but never once did we play uneven numbers. i think it really depended on the coaches and not a league thingy. |
| that could be. it is certainly the case that even at that age, there are coaches with no perspective. |
| My son plays on one of the "A" teams for McLean youth soccer, and his coach always starts pulling players when the score gets lopsided. Even wtih that, they've ended up with scores like 13 -0....and been down 3 players. Sometimes the match-ups are just bad. |
| As an earlier posted said, get a life. Competitive sports are great, but be careful. Otherwise you will one day display horrible behavior to adults and children you view as competitors to your child. |
is it sad for me to say that, at this point of my life, i care more about my children then myself and my spouse? i guess by 'getting a life' i need to find something i care more about then my kids but i don't know what they might be... |
| This changes as the children get older. They start separating, they manage their social life, parents don't hang out at practices any longer. You refind yourself at that point. |
