As an adult - whats the craziest thing you have ever done?

She probably went in Feb 😂

I quit practicing law to become a poet. Got an MFA in creative writing with a concentration in poetry.

DH was supportive, thank heavens, lol.

I have been taking international trip alone or with a gf since I got married 15 years ago, stopped during covid and resumed last year.
Your husband sounds fragile.

Extremely understandable.

Can't say I blame you.

If she gets to have fun, so do you.

This stood out to me as well. Enough for me to say ... OP's story is unlikely true as told.

Each couple got a master suite and the kids split two bunk rooms. Our master had a jack and jill bathroom with a huge mirrored wall. I was showering and saw that the door to the other bedroom wasnt fully closed and I could see the mom watching me in the mirror, so I jacked off and she watched. Not a word was ever said about it.

OMG, I love this. Are you male or female.

Nah. In the 5 minutes since I read this thread, I have looked into flights to Paris tonight (about $1,400 for a 4 hour layover in Iceland, or $2,150 for nonstop, both leaving at about 11pm from DC and returning on the 11th).

If I had to pick a hotel RIGHT NOW I'd pick Hotel Pilgrim, which is about $375/night. Never been to Paris but I've been to France. If money was no object I might choose differently.

Restaurants and cooking? There are so many. Just pick one! Not all will have availability, but some will, and they will ALL be in Paris!

While we are at it, I'll recommend Hotel Henri IV in the Latin Quarter as an awesome and relatively affordable option.

I love that women talk about solo travel and men talk about sexcapades.

I wanted to see what I was missing.

It was fine. I had fun, but I don't get the Disney adult hype.

I now follow a woman on social media who does day trips from DC all over the US and gives an itinerary. My next day trip will be Nashville next week. I'm pretty much following her itinerary.

I follow her too but I feel like those trips must be so exhausting and they’re always to places I’ve been to or have 0 desire to go to (I’m 53, though and have lived in this area for 25+ yrs). Love the idea in rhe abstract though! Enjoy Nashville

This sounds awesome. I know a woman who quit law and started med school at 50.

Well, at 18 I was technically adult and I did some stuff…

And I’m now in my midlife crisis era so I have also done some stuff… but I definitely cannot write about it.
