I think he’s the guy to beat.

Newsom sounds good now, but he started off being soft on Trump and being willing to throw trans people under the bus.

Murphy looks and sounds great and measured, and he’s been warning about the dangers of kissing Trump’s ring from the beginning.

He will stay in CA. maybe he has too much baggage to think of running (lol, look at who we currently have), but newsom doesn't look like he really wants this DC gig.

Except he didn't do that. He biked from DoT to the White House for a meeting, during which he stored his bike on the SUV's bike rack. Then he biked back to DoT.
