Musk just doesn’t like the big beautiful bill because it gets rid of subsidies for EVs, which hurts Tesla. He’s also pissed that Trump withdrew his buddy from the NASA slot, now Musk can’t control NASA.

Fiscal conservatives really don't exist anymore if they actually believe Elon tried to fix the government rather than loot the government for his business and family's benefit. Old fiscal hawks would never fall for that garbage.

Musk got sucked into giving millions to someone who is a hypocrite. Says one thing and 'forgets' what he said. And instead of reducing deficit, he has increased in by trillions, not millions. The millions they managed to cut, but the cuts left everything in a mess.

Musk is no dummy. DOGE was just a cover for getting what he wanted: contracts, data for his AI and blocking investigations into his own companies.
