No one losing 5-0 will make an impact nationally which was what all the boasting was about.

This - the parents think they're a "nATtY" caliber team. Just asked them. They won't shut their fxckin mouth about it.

Positively no one brought up that team being a nationally competitive team except those parents.

The falloff is right on schedule.

ARL. Still the team to beat. But things got tight this year with losses and ties that weren't there 1-2 years ago right. Top four are a class above (Arl, Courage, Charlotte, Richmond) everyone else. I don't see any clear dethroning next year. Congratulations Cap A jump in the pool.

VDA. Hard to tell. Played the spring with their very good trapped players and playing up player. Who were crucial in getting VDA wins, without them could be a very different story and closer to NVA. Well known that next year they are getting some top players from FVU and NVA but maybe aren't as good as the guest players from this spring. VDA might be better next year but not good enough to break top four. Or three as the case may be.

NVA. Good season for the team. Losing players to VDA and FVU, and going GA. Likely a weaker team next year but may be better than SYC and top GA team in the area which means exposure opportunity that they wouldn't have in ECNL. This might turn out to be a great move for them but with the expected realignment there are good teams in the Southeast so don't count your chickens yet. Good luck.

FVU. Not a great season, maybe better than last year or maybe not. Lacking consistency and losing a key players but getting others from NVA. Will battle for the mid table with Beach and NC Fusion. The VDA-FVU rivalry will be on.

SYC. Good season in the GA but will need to deal with NVA next year and the league realignment.

Revolution. Good players looking for upward mobility.

Mclean GA. Not next year but interesting to see if they can built it and compete with SYC and Rev in a few years. They might but can't see the 2011s catching NVA tho.

Loudoun GA. Second team, players looking to move to NVA eventually if they can.

St James GA. Will they have a team next year?

Great post. 100% accurate

Curious about Alexandria GA. Only one left out here.

Try asking in an Alexandria thread. However, they will probably take any warm body since their tryouts were after everyone else.

After a 5-0 thrashing, the bar for a "victory" is predictably low.

But don't worry; you'll be back on your knees in no time.

Alexanderia GA will be in the bottom table. But not a bad option for a a player not ready yet for high level to see what it is like to play good GA teams if they are ok losing big week in week out next year . The good GA teams picked up the good players back in March. GL
