we moved the principals office out into the hall. he sat out there all day, and at 3:00 when school was over, he said the fun was over and in 5 minutes a bunch of guys had everything put back together.

When he was in college, my father and his buddies had a classmate - who I guess wasn’t liked much - who had a date. They expected he would bring the date back to his room and, while he was out on the date, they relocated a goat to his dorm room, removed all of the light bulbs from the room, and put a latch on his door so that it lock behind him.

Compaining about helicopter parents? This is helicopter administration. For pete's sake let the kids live a little and do something as naughty as - gasp! the horror! - a senior skip day.
