The US has obtained intelligence suggesting that Israel is preparing to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, multiple US officials familiar with the latest intelligence told CNN.

From an Israeli point of view, they may be thinking that striking now is the perfect time as it would divert attention away from the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
