Both can be true and are likely true.

Yeah, the uncertainty disrupts the global market and shakes confidence in the US, but also makes his inner circle of criminals rich.

Insider trading gets prison time. Call your reps, everyone.

No one tops Pelosi.

“He made $2.5 million today, and he made $900 million! That’s not bad,” Trump said, pointing to financial investor Charles Schwab and Roger Penske, a Nascar team owner, respectively.

The silver lining is that if every MAGA in Congress bought on the orders of the President, then they will pressure him a lot more if tariffs make the market tumble again... they don't want to lose their investments.

Listen Pelosi traded in inside information.

Trump escalated the Tbill yields and manipulated the stock market directly with “policy” to enrich himself.

Your whataboutism is sad.

It’s not insider trading if you tell the whole world to do it. You do understand that, right? If Trump says “I’m about to make a big deal with China next week” tomorrow and people put money in the market right after the announcement is that insider trading?! Ridiculous reaching here. Dems are obviously butt hurt that Trump has his mojo back and is going to skyrocket in the polls after yesterday. People love risk takers and strong leaders. Sorry you all are led by mopey losers like Chuck Schumer.

What is it with right wingers and their obsession with this phrase?

It’s a popular insult with lower middle class in rural Pennsylvania. Which is Trump’s mark.

Butt hurt started with the liberals kids a decade ago.

Citation? It’s such violent and un-PC, I’m very skeptical.

Boy did this MAGA wanker’s take age badly. Trump’s poll number will continue to tank because he is incompetent and corrupt af.

It’s called market manipulation, the Tesla stunt a few weeks ago and yesterday. He does not GAF about anything resembling ethics. Meanwhile the deficit is the highest it’s ever been and education spending in elementary education is the only significant savings. Winning.

So what? Aren’t they both wrong? They can both be wrong. No one on the hill or their families should be able to trade anything other than index funds.

OMG you are dim. There was a huge volume of market calls BEFORE his announcement nitwit.

It’s so weird to see people cheering on their own oppressor. Why would anyone other than a billionaire promote a corrupt admin so shamelessly?

Because they are scared, confused, and overwhelmed by our complex world, and they made a bet that aligning with an oppressor will somehow keep them safe. As if the act of choosing this oppressor will somehow prevent him from being *their* oppressor.

It’s a bad bet, and it won’t pay off in the long run (or, the way things are going, in the short run either). But apparently they’re sticking with it.

The differencce is, Dems wouldn't through a tantrum if she were prosecuted and found guilty. They would expect her to be fined and jailed if appropriate.

Republicans tantrum and try to excuse the unlawful conduct of Trump. Constantly whining about "lawfare" and "witch hunt" and "hoax".

Dear Leader can do no wrong.

And that makes you a spineless toady.

A refresher on Donald Trump’s Rules for Governing:

Step 1: Create crisis
Step 2: Blame Democrats
Step 3: Golf
Step 4: Rant on Truth Social
Step 5: Profit from crisis
Step 6: Golf
Step 7: Claim to resolve crisis
Step 8: Declare victory
Step 9: Golf
Step 10: Repeat

You give them too much credit. They were upset about the black president and then doubled down against the woman president. The black woman president broke them.
