If you're worried about heat go North. Or S America where it's winter.

I mean DC is hot and humid too. I grew up in tropics and DC summers are pretty much same. At a certain % of humidity it sucks. Another 3% is totally same.

We did China and Japan in June last yr and it was no worse than DC in June.

I travel globally for fun and I personally will stay in country the next yr prob 2. The dollar will fall - prob a lot. Some countries will not want you there. A lot of domestic destinations are amazing and prob could use tourist income. People forget how big the US is. I've been everywhere and feel that US has places no less beautiful and worthwhile to visit.

Op, you either go up into mountains or south away from the equator to get the cool(er) weather.

North Africa / South Asia in northern hemisphere and close to the equator and close to sea level will be scorching hot (and often humid).

You got some good recommendations. So even parts of Japan, if you focus on mountain areas where Japanese spend their summers may be great. So think either UP in elevation or way down as in south

or way north as pps suggested. Baltic states could fit your no English requirement and cool weather.
