| Simply Orwellian. |
And this is why I roll my eyes whenever someone calls the slippery slope a logical fallacy
|
| I’d be much happier if they would go after all the in insured, illegal, unregistered, or stolen cars |
They already do that. Any time you pass a police car it reads your tags. |
Clowns to the left of us, jokers to the right... |
But there are rarely cops on the road. |
Not in moco they don’t. A few have the tag readers but not all. |
| I see motor cycles and cars without tags. I guess the police aren't pulling them over. |
As usual, reliance on automated enforcement decimates the effectiveness of personnel-based enforcement. The "savings" often prove illusory. Meanwhile, the dependence generated, both logistically and financially, make it very difficult to walk back. That's not even addressing the big brother downside. This kind of thing is arranged far more for the benefit of the vendor than the benefit of the community. |
| My car stops automatically when it detects someone or a vehicle in front of me. Why would it apply to those who get automatic braking and lane correction packages? |
