Anyone else spend the whole day stress cleaning?

I actually do have the stress cleaning gene. I think it’s one of those “the world is out of control so I will control what I can” kind of mindsets.

I’ve also been cooking and baking up a storm, and I’ve been going to the gym more regularly than I can remember. Apparently stressful times are great for my productivity but not my mental health…

Ugh.

Take pictures as you clean to bolster your Indeed application to cleaning companies after you lose your job.

My career and (so far) my finances are not affected by what is happening, but during my career I have worked entirely at non-profits and higher education research. I am just devastated by these events. It's heartbreaking.

Enjoy your affectation of "macrons" now because you'll be on UBI in a few years or changing diapers in a nursing home.

Me too. I've hired organizers though to help me every fourth clean since I get tired quickly. It must be a menopausal reflex as my youngest gets ready to leave the nest as if I have to hold on to this stage or life before it ends or maintain some control over my life that is changing. Or finally being able to organize now that I don't have little ones messing up the house. It's really weird. Yes, I keep finding new tasks to clean or organize and the list gets longer.

If someone can't afford a cleaner that moves furniture and wipes down baseboards, they probably work for the government and are highly likely to lose their jobs. They should be pro-active.

Oh FFS. Does it make you feel good kicking people while they are down? You are a trash individual (and I'm not even a fed).
