How much allowance do you give your first grader?

We don't give allowance to my 1st grader my sis does to her 2nd and 5th graders and it sounds like a pain. They always allege she forgot and they lose the money.

I have bribed DS to accomplish things. I bought him several bakugans to ride his bike. We had been practicing for a couple months without training wheels and I knew he could do it - he was just scared. It gave him the boost he needed.
