HAHAHAHAHAHAHA . . . Lie. Project 2025 wants the SEC to take over more duties. If anything some want the CFTC gone (merged into the SEC)

This assumes far too much forethought. They will lay off all conditional employees next, so whatever agency has recently hired people.

Treasury is done.

Almost none. None of this talk is real.

They will target agencies where employees contributed to the Harris campaign. Stephen Miller said it.

How is this not completely illegal discrimination as a metric for where to make cuts? How stupid do they have to be to say this aloud? I mean theoretically it would go through the courts, but they are speeding up that decision by blatantly bragging about being corrupt.

It's amazing to see the denial in real time.

They can’t RIF FinRegs. They would need to compel the agencies to do it themselves. They would do it, if compelled.

Why do you say this?

Why do you say they can’t RIF financial regulators?

Nice try, Amanda. Or is it the 18 year old?

That article is completely irrelevant to the question of whether they can RIF financial regulators.

Well...that's going to be 100% of all agencies.
