| How do you know it's a brag, though? I wish my kid showed more motivation to practice sometimes because it shows they're willing to work hard at something to achieve a goal, a transferrable life skill. Maybe they're good enough to make the team without practicing, but eventually they'll probably have to work at something to make the cut. |

| We talking bout practice???? Not a game not a game. Practice??? |
In case he doesn't make it. That way she can say: "Oh he didn't get picked because he didn't practice. It was never that important to him anyways. Don't mind the kid crying in the parking lot." |
Your answer is better than mine. |
It will in high school unless he’s also a giant. |
HS Baseball tryouts are in a month. If a kid hasn’t picked up a bat since November, he’s not going to be impressive. Most of the 14u kids I know practice or workout a bare minimum of 3x a week. |
Totally missed the reference mom |
PP here. Son is the biggest kid on his team and projected to be 6'4 and 240. He's been in the 95 percentile (or higher) for height and weight since birth. |
Oink |
That’s just like your opinion man. |
Sorry, how exactly are you projecting his weight?? Height I get, but weight? Didn’t you say he’s only 10? |
She’s in la la land |
Just a guess. Dad is 230 and I'm 200. All the men in my family are 240 plus. |
