I think you’re being sarcastic? Just in case you aren’t, none of those girls paid to go to any of those Gotham events. They’re invited. A couple of them have been up for weeks at a time to train with the real team.

Did Gotham pay for the travel, too? I guess any expense is worth it just to get those social media posts.

Gotham offered to pay flight/hotel for my kid (from CA).

Probably not, considering the new NIL eligibility rules. I may be wrong, but now, former pro players are eligible to play in college if they skipped it previously (which may benefit Chloe Rockets). But some one could chime in if that is now true.

I think the amateur status requirement still applies. But then, colleges can pay the amateur athletes with NIL deals.
