Is this a joke? |
| I always see people going on about their super warm mittens. Yet, i’ve tried so many and within minutes my hands are freezing. Even the reviews for the super expensive mittens say the same. Without using the hand warmers, are there any mittens/gloves that really work to keep your hands warm when it’s really really cold? |
I'm the one with Raynaud's wearing the Swany mittens. If I need to stay out in the cold for hours, I need hand-warmers in the pocket compartment of the mittens, plus my battery-heated vest under a winter coat, and if could have battery-heated soles that fit my snow boots, I'd wear those too. If it's very cold but I'm walking the dog briskly, no battery anything. If I'm shoveling snow, I end up in just a turtleneck outdoors, no gloves or coat, because the exercise is quite intense. |
Here are the ones I was referring to: https://apparis.com/products/coco-vegan-shearling-gloves-sand-yellow-beige |

This is super dorky, but I like three finger gloves. I use them to ski because there’s more manual dexterity than mittens, but still pretty warm.

| I wear them for skiing because good skiers don’t use poles anymore. They’re super warm. Don’t wear around here just doesn’t get cold enough. |
