Just because someone is rich, doesn't mean they want to waste their fortune on overpriced stuff. If Target starts selling good quality clothing at good price, I would totally buy it.

Yes. And they brag about it. "I LOVE this shirt, don't you! I got it at *Target*!!"

I don’t know, but I see them at Target all the time.

Sometimes I feel like people conflate rich as in has-a-lot-of-money with rich as in comes-from-generational-wealth-and-has-a-certain-culture.

Target has some great stuff. The cat and Jack t-shirts and leggings are terrific and imo an amazing value. I also think the athletic wear, all in motion I think, is pretty good. I have a thin hoodie that’s like 8 years old and still looks great. I wear that thing all the time. And I love the threshold performance sheets.

There are categories I wouldn’t even look at target for, like sweaters. I think all their sweaters are trash. It’s not just that they’re synthetic, it’s that they don’t fit well or wash well.

Yes we do

Yes - I get my kids clothes, kids winter gear, my bras and workout gear, and pjs for everyone from there. I don’t buy the general women’s clothes anymore because they lose their shape so fast and are generally trendier than i am.

I have never once said “omg this is from target” unless someone specifically asked where something was from.

I’m always curious who buys like the $1000 sweaters in high end stores - I’m wealthy as are many of my friends and I don’t know a single person that pays that kind of money for clothes

This! I picked up some cute things from Ross last week. Our HHI is about $1.4M a year. Not rich but I can shop where ever. I also shop at Target and TJ Maxx!

With Target based in Minneapolis, there are many stores in the Midwest that have much better clothing options than any target I’ve been to in DMV.

I'm just middle class, and I don't. The quality is really poor.
