Harvard cancelled classes because they lost the election

Anonymous
I'm sure there were also MAGAs who canceled their day of work following the election too.

No shits given on this thread.

Why on earth would you ASSume that? It’s only liberal snowflakes who were sobbing and in need of cookies, cocoa, Lego-building and crafting in a safe space of their equally moronic peers.

Same for Yale, GU and Princeton

And? So did Notre Dame and the Naval academy. so what?

No they did not.

Notice, the PP never provided a link to back up her claim. I googled and of course - nothing. She is a liar. Schools like Notre Dame and the Naval Academy would never in a million years behave in such a revoltingly childish way over an ELECTION.

You seem big mad over someone posting nonsense about something that didn't happen.

You mean, liberals spreading misinformation, as usual?

You'll see how quickly that ends.

Plus, when every student gets a check for $500 or whatever it is, they'll quickly realize what a sham it is.

You're not going there, so just butt out. Just because your guy won, it still doesn't give you the right to dictate how they handle it.

Triggered!! Safe space, milk and cookies, stat!

"They turned the US Capitol into a craphouse.

Some invading rioters defiled the hallowed seat of democracy with their dung in their ill-fated effort to overturn the election, a source close to incoming Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told The Post.

“Congressional staffers saw feces in the hallways,” the source said Friday.

The vile vandals apparently took dumps in bathrooms and then spread around their poop, a Schumer insider said.

“It came from the bathroom and they tracked it around,” the source said. “There was an intentional effort to degrade the Capitol building.”

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) of Brooklyn also reported that some members of the mob urinated on the floors during the rampage.

“There was urine. There was clear desecration,” he told WNYC on Thursday."

Part of the pampered, babied generation. They grew up with everyone is a winner, a trophy for all, "your" truth is what matters, if the work is too hard we'll make it easier, etc. They weren't taught "When the going gets tough, the tough get going. "

Yes, a canceled class one day is all of this.

All you dudes obsessed with toughness and then your heros are Tucker and the Trumps and all sorts of other men than whine when they lose the smallest of things and clearly the reason they fret about testosterone is because they're lacking it.

I'm sure all these Ivy league kids will be just fine. Canceled one day of class and all.

PP here. I'm an educator who voted for Harris, and I have grandkids in college. Just saying it like it is. Life can be tough, and these kids do not need to be babied because the election didn't go as hoped.

As an educator, you should understand that you aren't "saying it like it is" you are saying it how you see it. What I see is that America has had the same generation of boomers at the helm since Clinton and we need a new generation of leaders that don't "back in my day..." when the back in your day wasn't all that great.

Huh? No one has any clue what you're babbling about.

I don't know what DP means. But the post was very clear. Boomers are tiring.

Has nothing to do with boomers. Has to do with meeting life's challenges with strength and resilience. True for anyone.

Such short memories. The post election meltdown from Trump and his followers will be in our history books. No one gives a damn about a few professors canceling classes.

People in this thread are exactly why we have Trump. They couldn’t disentangle themselves from his hateful rhetoric. Meanwhile on college campuses there have been texts to black students telling them to report for cotton picking, white boys in red hats shouting at them to go back to where they came from, ironically since white men enslaved them and brought them to the US. There has also been increased antisemitism and Islamophobia. In the US sexist posts have increased by +1000% and “your body my choice” shirts are being sold on Amazon while guys continue to spike women’s drinks, and if women get pregnant as a result they may not be able to get medical care. Many of them had their rights stripped BEFORE they could vote. Many of them are gay or trans or a dreamer or have undocumented family or family from a shithole country or are plain sensitive because they have friends in those groups, all of whom are now uncertain about the future.

Let’s give people a minute to catch their breath, shall we instead of calling them weak. Honestly, if you’re calling them weak you’re probably privileged beyond measure or heartless.

There there, sweetie. It'll be alright. We'll cancel classes, so you can become less anxious. We have soft cashmere blankets, cuddly teddy bears, real golden retrievers, hot chocolate, and homemade chocolate chip cookies for you. Now tell me a little about yourself. You're only 20 years old? Bless you!

College professors extend deadlines all the time for myriad reasons. This is a non-issue.

Agree.

I'm sure there were MAGAs who didn't show the next day, hungover / still drunk from celebrating Trump's win.

Maybe if a bunch of Harvard professors decide to storm the Capitol to try and steal the certificates and pull a coup, I'll give a crap about this.

Until then, shut it, MAGAs. You don't really have a case here.

They don't routinely usually classes to baby students.
