Why is driving and parking so hard for so many people?

I watched a guy back down an onramp to a major highway today. Seriously? You couldn't just get on the highway and take the next exit?

I have made all of the mistakes listed. It's just a matter of people being in a rush. They dont want to miss their exit or have to make a U turn and they dont want to wait at yellow lights and yield so they use the yield warning as a sign to speed up in the intersection even when they look like a jackass when it turns to red and they're stuck in the middle of oncoming traffic. They would rather reverse on the highway than take the next exit and turn around and they'd rather force their car crooked into the middle of two lanes in order to get to the lane they need to be in.
