You really want to blame someone? So if Columbus never made it here, you thing the Americas would some sort of Native American utopia? Untouched by anyone? Come on. This would have been colonized by other countries like Russia and China eventually. So don’t pretend like it was not going to happen one way or another. Columbus was here first. If he never existed it would have been other explorers from somewhere else. Same thing would have happened to the native Americans. |

Evidence Viking were in North America a few hundred years before Columbus and Polynesian explorers were in South America as well.
Either way, American continent was going to be colonized by countries that would exploit and kill natives. This happened in South America by the Spanish and Portuguese. |

| Does every ethnic group really need a holiday? Let’s get over it and celebrate being Americans |
| Polish Americans were discriminated against. Where is their holiday? Every one has a grievance about something that happened three generations ago. If you care about discrimination and racism, spend your time and energy fighting against today’s discrimination. |

... According to a bunch of Spanish people who sampled DNA found in Spanish-conected territories. |
Not me. My ancestral home was genocided. |

A Spanish guy sailing in Spanish ships on an expedition funded by Spanish monarchs. Kinda funny actually that Italian Americans tried to take “credit” for the “discovery”. |
