Nobody can exactly predict the impacts of climate change for every part of the globe over the next few decades. There are too many unknowns.
This area seems fine, as does much of the mid-atlantic and mid west. We have moderate temperatures and can absorb hotter summers. Many people would be fine with warmer winters and no more snow. We get a good amount of precipitation which is needed to sustain life. Should amounts trend upwards, the states and municipalities can adapt infrastructure. If radical changes occur 20 years from now, then that would be the time to asses what region is better. But no sense moving now when you could end up putting yourself in a worse position by guessing than just staying here. |
I'm with Dorothy on this one. Give me at least 3 hours notice for a tornado. I am grabbing Toto, a pillow, flashlight, and radio and heading for the basement.
Plenty of notice for tornadoes. Forget 5 day preparation and evacuation from the state for a hurricane. I am terrified of fire. |
Probably Florida. Gulf Coast. |
