Looking for a mid-level regional VB club for 15s/16s

So expensive, loud, bizarre seeding every year we’ve been, unhealthy food, expensive spectator tickets, overpriced hard to find parking, and insane traffic. Last year our team literally worked to find quiet hiding places it was such an auditory overload. We always make it a good time but I just don’t see the appeal

I guess if you really think a massive convention center tournament experience is important at least you don’t have to pay for hotel costs.

You are not the only one. I was very vocal on this thread as soon as I read the idea of CHC being a must-have experience for a regional team. I also agree that those who enjoyed their CHC experience appear to have more representation on DCUM. But you described the event perfectly.

My DD played at CHC for a popular regional team and it was a lot of fun and a bit overwhelming but I’m glad we did it and didn’t have to travel far. In our experience there are teams that come up from NC and SC and sandbag into lower divisions so they can sweep.

I'm bumping (no pun intended) this thread to see if anyone else has any input about mid-level clubs for the 15U and 16U age groups in Maryland. Anyone? Anyone?

I think we've provided quite a bit of feedback (besides the usual tangents). You can also post the question on the dedicated thread [https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1228523.page] and you may get more traffic. At this point, tell us if you have a plan based on what feedback you have received / research that you have done and we will try to discuss it.
