Drove Rte 29 north from Charlottesville yesterday. There were Trump/Vance signs.
Didn't see any Harris/Walz signs but like the PP above, I also think there are a fair amount of people who hate Trump and won't vote for him but aren't going to advertise it, particularly given the militant rhetoric from the most die-hard Trumpers/militia types. |
Never. Assume these people are quietly still supporting Trump. They WILL show up on Election Day to vote. They always do!! |
My FIL in Texas had someone leave a dead animal on his Biden Harris sign. Same thing happened to his neighbor. I think that is pretty crazy trespass and vandalizing by a crazy Trump supporter. Are you alleging that sort of thing doesn’t happen? |
I live in McLean and have seen a grand total of ONE Trump sign. |
Nah, they’ve just gone underground. |
Why would they, though? |
More of us showed up in 2020. |
They may not be enthralled with their ticket but they’ll still vote for the party. It seems to me that we see fewer bumper stickers and signs with each election cycle. Obama was the high point. |
| I have three Trump/Vance signs one street over. We are sharpening the pitchforks this afternoon. |
Maybe the DNC should step up, LOL. |
| So one of my neighbors is a Brit who likes to rile up the neighbors. He just switched his "From the River to the Sea" sign to a Vance/Trump sign (with Vance at the top) and superimposed with a Palestinian flag. We kinda let him be because he has a huge fir tree in his yard that he decorates each year for Christmas. He also has a "Bah Humburg" sign in front of the tree. |
Why do American Nazis cover their faces? The answer is similar. |
| See plenty on my drives through rural western PA, though there are still some faded signs from 2016 and 2020 as well. |
| Was in the midwest (southern Illinois / eastern Iowa) last week and saw several trump signs. Not as many as 2016, 2020, though) |
| I have not seen a single trump sign in Takoma Park |
