Can we bring back the Over 50 forum?

Please don't do this. I have never had children and I would love to have an over-50 board. No need to restrict the audience artificially.

It could be called “Old Demanding People”.

Should cover all posts here.

Are they?

That would be a much better name than empty nesters 👍

How about Demanding People and then we wouldn’t need any subs. 🙄

Yeah, it would be nice to avoid ageism. Geez.

I agree that “empty nesters” is unhelpful because it centers children, and is exclusive.

Challenges of menopause, for one.

NP. That this is covered in the new forum that appeared after the split of midlife and eldercare. Perimenopause and such.

I would love to see the new Perimenopause forum renamed as Midlife which I think would get more traction than the more narrow current title. Just a thought.

100% agree with a Midlife forum.

Same. (Or even the previous over 50, since at some point beyond 50 it’s just not realistic to call it “mid”)

Please bring back the 50 plus forum.

So many of dcum were "moms" when this site started. It'd be nice to stick togther.

Given that since 2015 there have been nine thousand posts in lgbtq forum

Seems like general aging of Gen X is worthy of a separate forum form "eldercare".
