Thanks for the follow-up! I’m one of the PP with a younger girl and it’s good to it’s possible to join at that age. Congrats to your daughter on her offer and good luck.

My dd didn’t even start playing softball until 10 and made a travel team at 11 so it’s definitely possible.

At least near where I am in northern VA there seem to be a lot of openings on 12U B and C teams. I see advertised openings in Firebirds - all 3 12U eligible teams, St. James, and SoCo Colts. All are still actively trying to bring in players and holding their "if needed" tryouts. Can't tell for sure because I'm not part of the organization, but it looks like Stingrays may go back to having 2 12U teams for this fall. I also notice LLGSL is spinning up a new travel organization with a 12U team.

All these travel organizations have to be happy Fairfax Little League is starting softball and hopefully training up some new players to be their future recruits.
