What was your favorite childhood show? And why?

I once watched a show, a cartoon where some evil being dragged kids from their beds and made them work in some awful hell-like space, strapped to wheel-shaped machinery. Some kid, a little girl I think, managed to overcome the evil being and all the children were able to return home.

Does anyone have any idea what the hell I'm talking about?
