This. Leave $10 or whatever on the table every day for kid snacks or have her pack them.

If she works 8-6, she should eat breakfast before she comes and dinner after she leaves. The only meal she should have while working is lunch. It is up to you whether she can eat what the kids are having or use her own food. If they go on an outing that requires money, I give a the nanny cash to use and she gives me receipts at the end of the day.

She sounds young. Just clarify expectations that you are fine with her having a snack and drink - show the shelf where she can take from for her consumption and the freezer shelf where she can store the meals she has purchased. She is welcome to eat lunch with kids when she cooks for them but generally she is to eat what she brought from home or from the designated shelves. Let her know you will refill the snacks every 2 weeks or whatever schedule so she can plan. And nix the nanny card. She can pack snacks from home for outings.
