She pulled it up on her laptop and I saw a document with gpa, test score, number of AP’s and highest math level. It was around 15 or so kids so didn’t take long. None of the REA got in, all deferred or rejected. One deferral got in and one in regular. The one with highest stats by far was rejected. The one that got in had shockingly low stats. My takeaway,

Your friend deserves to be fired. She showed you a document with other kids GPA's, test scores, etc . . . ?

You are also a terrible person.

Could it have been the Naviance report?

If it was just stats, no names, showing rejections, acceptances and waitlists, it was probably just Naviance, which any parent or student can view.

She did not show me, I did not see names, I just saw as seated near screen.

Sounds like Naviance, which is no big deal. That info is public.

My DD's Catholic school recently updated Scoir with 2025 acceptances. In 2025 alone, the acceptance rate was 42%. Of the 12 that applied, 5 were accepted and average SAT/ACT was 1490/35.

For the period 2021-25, acceptance rate was 35% (21 out of 62 applicants). Average SAT/ACT was 1422/31.

DD is well within the stats for 2025, so I feel hopeful about her chances. She also has the type of story that Notre Dame likes. It's her dream school and that will, of course, come through on the essays.

Without revealing anything personal, what kind of story does ND like?
