US News just ranked it somewhere in the top ten two weeks ago. Could be the fourth best. 30 years ago it was one of the worst FCPS schools and under-enrolled, and now it’s one of the best of the best. Amazing turnaround and Pimmit Hills is today one of the most desirable inside-the-Beltway neighborhoods. |

I live in McLean, close to Franklin Sherman. I go to this part of Falls Church a lot for Asian groceries, Traders Joe’s and other stuff. I think the hate is unnecessary, it’s a nice area with solid schools and chill people ( we know quite a few families there). Location is great and house looks like a good value for the money.
As far as the aesthetics and style of house goes, sure they are personal preferences. Overall, whoever got it made a good choice, great location inside the beltway and great access to D.C, Tysons, Arlington, Alexandria. |

Suspect it bothers you that many people prefer a new house like this to your old sh*tshack with "charm" (and few amenities), but that's life. It's not a "low class" property. |
