Which sitcom character did you marry?

Another wife to Ray Romano...and my MIL is just like Deborah's. She packs her own food when she comes to visit, including "fruit becaase she didn't think I kept that around the house for the family to snack on..."

Me too! Phil is very popular.

Goofy, cute, great dad, loves his wife.

That's how you see Phil? I wondered why so many people are saying "Phil," because in my estimation, it's a pretty unflattering choice.

But this description of Phil is really positive.

I checked with my DH, and he agrees that while Phil loves his wife and kids, Phil is also dim-witted, slow, and childish.

You're probably over-analyzing this.

I thought the same thing - although perhaps not as harshly. He is goofy, and a little cute. He obviously loves his wife - but great dad? He seems kind of clueless to me, although definitely very loving and definitely much more involved than say Ray.

I'm this poster -- I asked my husband this question and he answered Ray Romano. He liked my description much better -- even when I said he had a dash of Dwight.

Totally me too. Down to the "meep meep" noises that seem to emanate from him when it's decision-making time (okay those are probably in my head, but his eyes really do get as wide as Beaker's).

But since he's married to a cross between Miss Piggy and Fozzie, I think it's a pretty good balance.

A mix of Anthony Bourdain (not a sitcom character, but a character nonetheless), Peter Griffin, and Hyde form That 70s Show.
