Well you're not overweight and obsessed with the scale. Not a great sign. |
The only thing that worked for me was 2 months of semaglutide. I got it from one of the med spas. It’s a compounded version so about $200 a month. I was on a dose so low it wasn’t therapeutic. Side effects were constipation and little muscle loss.
I went from 5’4, 143 to 128. It’s noticeable fo me and my clothes fit better. I have maintained the last month. I gained the weight from stress/SSRI use so my body reset what it was at for all my 30/40s. I’m active daily and one side effect was I completely lose my taste + interest in alcohol at all. I would solidly drink a few days a week at social occasions and completely lost that interest. I’ll sip a wine now at a birthday but never really want a drink. The one time on the meds I had two strong cocktails I threw up so that’s something to consider but overall I’m happy I did it because I was spinning my wheels and obsessing about my weight for a solid year and nothing I did had any impact. |
Ok this all sounds good on paper, but how are you doing in reality? Have you really eaten this way and 1350 cal/day for 2 months straight with no days off or going over? because here is the typical deal with those who "can't lose weight eating small amount of calories". They eat 1200 cal for a few days then wake up starving on day 3 so overeat. "Get back on track" the next day. Or they eat this way M-thursday then overeat all weekend. It is really hard to only eat 1350 cal EVERY day. the key to fat loss is a CONSISTENT deficit. That is eating in a deficit AT least 90% of the time so not going over set calories more than 3x/month. |
Way too many carbs for breakfast. Oats plus fruit? Setting yourself up for failure first thing every morning |
You’re delusional if you don’t think it’s calorie in, calorie out. Someone who lost 60lb eating fruit and oatmeal. |
