OP, this is me. I’m now almost 40.
Still have horrible motion sickness, except when pregnant - even prescription stuff doesn’t help all the time, for serious activities. FWIW, it’s annoying as all f. But there was nothing physically wrong with me, as far as I know. The one thing that actually makes a huge difference is whether or not I’m woken up during a REM cycle. If I am? Automatic nausea. Helps to eat, but doesn’t always work. I was also told it was genetic, though neither parent of mine would fess up to having either issue. All this to say - you may run hundreds of tests and not find a thing. I’m otherwise completely healthy, fit etc. I could never pull it together for things like early morning sports or workouts - I started relatively competitive racing in my thirties and just carve out time to vomit and then eat after. |
