MSG is extremely unhealthy.

This is not true. Put it in the same bucket as the claims that vaccines cause autism or that playing outside in the rain will give you a cold.

Plus an egg! Fried or beaten in.

I was going to suggest Momofuku. I have them almost daily for lunch. They sell them online and some flavors are in stores like Target and Whole Foods. Be careful with the spice levels though. The spicy ones are really spicy!!

Agree, I switched to momofuku because healthier. I add a little of their chili crunch sauce, so good!

Use dry buckwheat noodles instead of fried ramen. Boil in chicken broth mixed with miso paste and a hot sauce of choice.

They are massive salt and fat bombs. I love me a bowl of noodle soups, but I know they're super unhealthy. The salt content alone is horrendous. Asian noodles alone contain MASSIVE amounts of sodium. And that's not even considering the broth etc.

There are some lighter Asian soups, like tom yum that can be eaten instead. Maybe see if she can start substituting noodles for rice. At least you can control the sodium content.

What are you talking about? Also, ramen has the same amount of sodium as all that Mac and cheese Americans like to shovel into their kids. Japanese and Koreans tend to do just fine with their longevity and low rates of heart disease compared to Americans, so perhaps lay off the French fries and nachos and let people enjoy their udon and ramen.

Momofuku has instant noodles that are quite good. You can find them at different markets.

We use the package square ones and just use chicken broth instead of the flavor packet.
