Three cups per soak.

Amazon.

Husband.

If you're using that much salt, have you ever thought of having a salt water tub created instead? I don't have one, but a friend does and you just leave the water in the tub.

I rent. Can't install some other tub.

Amazon sells inflatable bathtubs.

Not PP, but big fan of arnica gel and tumeric. I believe in medicine and will take drugs if needed. But both work well for me.

OP can you post a link with what salt you use? DH is in a lot of pain. Thinking maybe he should give this a try.

Nope.

I ask because DH and I drove out to Hot Springs a few years back and I felt like my BP rose, and I had never given BP a thought before that in my life.

In general, magnesium lowers blood pressure. But heat can raise BP, and I have no idea what other naturally occurring minerals might be happening out at Hot Springs. It's also possible that, without actually taking your BP, what *felt* like a BP rise was something completely different.

OP did you try any other magnesium supplements? I didn't have pain as bad as yours, but magnesium citrate has done wonders for my muscle tension and soreness.

You dump it in the tub, swirl it around, and sink down into the water.

you need to soak in it and absorb it through your skin, so no, a shower isn't really going to work.. You can try just doing a footbath?

[google]

The magnesium in epsom salts lowers blood pressure.

+1

Idk why people talk about the placebo affect. The magnesium does the trick.
Seems scientific.
