| Not PP, but big fan of arnica gel and tumeric. I believe in medicine and will take drugs if needed. But both work well for me. |

| OP can you post a link with what salt you use? DH is in a lot of pain. Thinking maybe he should give this a try. |
In general, magnesium lowers blood pressure. But heat can raise BP, and I have no idea what other naturally occurring minerals might be happening out at Hot Springs. It's also possible that, without actually taking your BP, what *felt* like a BP rise was something completely different. |
| OP did you try any other magnesium supplements? I didn't have pain as bad as yours, but magnesium citrate has done wonders for my muscle tension and soreness. |
| How are you getting the salt to your upper back?! |
Dr Teals. It's pretty cheap. |
You dump it in the tub, swirl it around, and sink down into the water. |
Yes, just started these as well. |

Can I get any of the benefits with a shower only, no bath?
|
you need to soak in it and absorb it through your skin, so no, a shower isn't really going to work.. You can try just doing a footbath? |
[google] The magnesium in epsom salts lowers blood pressure. |
+1 Idk why people talk about the placebo affect. The magnesium does the trick. Seems scientific. |
