I don't know if you are joking, but words cannot express how much I love Roy Rogers. For the sake of my health, I'm glad that there aren't any close to where I live. It feels like a treat whenever I have the opportunity to go there.

Not after the Sarah Huckabee incident. That was just wrong on the part of management (currently planning to close and reopen under a new name because of the justified outrage on Yelp and other sources). I won't go under the new name as well. Nor will any of my friends.

That was in Virginia. I bet PP is talking about the completely different Red Hen in Bloomingdale DC.

La Casita, MD and DC
Side door pizza, DC
Parkway deli, MD
Equinox, DC
Charga chicken, VA
Zorba's cafe, DC
Habesha market, DC
Silver diner, all over the DMV
Clyde's, all over the DMV
Royal tandoor (sitdown) and Biriyani City (takeout), MD

Equinox is really the only fancy place on this list (maybe royal tandoor too) but they are all places where I feel I have gotten good value and enjoyed the food and service.
