It has nothing to do with race. They are mismatched looks wise and lack any sort of physical chemistry. I cannot see the two of them together. No one, and I mean no one batted an eye when Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas. BECAUSE THEY MATCH despite being from different ethnic backgrounds.

They look matched to me.

Have no idea about their personalities on the show, but I think she looks nice and that's the kind of looks match I see in public all the time.

Another man here and I agree. Never heard of the show, the characters or the actors, but I googled and was expecting a wildebeest. She's a regular looking woman that many men would happily date.

+1. The way some (I assume) women talk about other women's appearance on her is totally foreign to me as a man. She's cute.

She’s probably cute to you because you aren’t attractive either. People think people in their same looks class as being better looking than they are. If she’s cute to you, that does not bode well for your looks.

I’m guessing again that you are a woman. I’ve only met women who say stuff like “water meets its level.” It reads like weird jealousy. (I am a woman, by the way. The truly hottest men I’ve met find beauty everywhere.)

No, hot men date hot women or rich ones.

Do you ever leave your house? The world is full of people of mismatched attractiveness.

The men I consider hot date women that I consider hot. I personally do not know any mismatched couples, except for average looking Black dudes who date really ugly, fat White chicks, but we all know why that is. There’s no mystery there. I’m not shocked by the matches I see. They make sense. This manufactured, fake tv one does not.

Priyanka looks way better than Nick. (Setting aside personality.). People like this PP think non-white women need to look *better* than their white male partners to make it a match.

Uh Priyanka is way more attractive than Nick Jonas

I think she's attractive and matches fine. I was expecting so much worse?

Agree with this. Women who consider themselves hot or beautiful simply can’t handle it that men, while they might agree these women are hot or beautiful, don’t think they’re THAT much better than “plain Jane” next door. Certainly not so much more appealing that their personalities wouldn’t be in play.

This! Priyanka is one of the most attractive women walking the earth and Nick Jonas is...just a guy really.

But those men you are talking about aren’t hot themselves. They are average looking guys who think that average looking, plain Janes, as you call them, are better for them than slightly hotter women. Gorgeous men do not end up with plain Janes. Look at who Paul Newman and Mathew McConaughey and Brad Pitt, etc. ended up with. Those women were not plain Janes. I have never seen a legitimately hot man with a plain wife.

Most people think that the woman should be hotter than the guy. Why do some people have to make everything about race?

There's a Instagram influencer whom I follow, she is probably below average for looks, short and overweight. Her husband is so good looking, and works out all the time. She talks about it a lot. He seems to adore her, and I think it's cute.

I’ve read water meets its own level enough times on this board to know that something is amiss when we start saying women should be hotter in the context of a brown woman/white man.

Okay people the woman is perfectly normally attractive for real life but that size nose is not camera friendly. It doesn’t mean it’s not attractive in real life. And yes, the guy actor does look like a cute cabbage patch doll.

I have tons of friends who were up in arms that plain Jennifer Aniston married Brad.

By the way, this isn’t convincing any of us you aren’t a plain Jane who was passed over.

My brother would probably fall into this category. He's always been told he's attractive, he's fit, and he makes good money. His wife is a size 24 (yes I know because we are close and go shopping together). She sort of reminds me of the Tess Holiday type of overweight person. She's tall, pretty, and stylish. I have never missed the looks they've gotten in public. But my brother has always dated plus sized women.
