I have gotten iPhone responses before that say something like: Notifications have been silenced. If this needs immediate attention, click here.

This should make it clear. If not, and she is clicking to go ahead and send, and it's not an emergency, this would really have to be addressed.

I agreed with other PPs. Some people send off texts and emails when they think of something so it is off their plate. I'm guessing she doesn't expect you to respond right away.
